968 - Performance/Camshaft Repairs

As the latest 968's have now passed a decade, not many have below 50,000 miles on them. Another wear area that can become a costly problem is the wearing and sometimes chipping of the 968 camshafts. The other problem with wear on the sprockets is the change in valve timing. Camshafts should only be replaced in pairs The cost of new units are higher and may become more difficult to obtain.

RS Barn is proud to offer 968 camshafts that have been repaired with new sprockets. The original worn or damaged sprockets are removed and new one are cold welded in place in a jig using special equipment. The same procedure has been used for years by performance camshaft companies such as WebCam and others.
